Partners for Youth announced the 2020-2021 “I DO” school year program list. 

With this program, parents can take advantage of enrolling their children in over 40 free and affordable positive youth programs. A complete, detailed list is available on the Partners for Youth website.

The Partners for Youth program works with the community to support Lexington’s most vulnerable and valuable youth. Their mission is to promote positive youth development and to prevent juvenile delinquency through collaboration and capacity building.

The Lyric, in partnership with Black Soil: Our Better Nature presents ‘FAM: Family. Art. Memories. A take home Lyric program.’ Beginning in September, the Lyric will be offering free take home packages to do with your families.

Some of the programs are free of charge while others are not. Several of the free programs include: Art Club sponsored by Sisohpromatem Art Foundation, Inc., FAM: Family. Art. Memories. A take home Lyric program, Carnegie Center for Literacy & Learning Fall 2020 Youth Programs, F.R.E.S.H.S Program (Food Research & Environmental Studies for High Schoolers), and more.

Programs with a fee include Lexington Parks and Recreation Artworks & Kiddie Kapers Dance Classes, Bluegrass Youth Ballet – Ballet School, JA BizTown by JA of the Bluegrass, Girls on the Run Central Kentucky, and more.
